Room for boats and projects
Practical storage, access to the water and space to get on with your own work.
Indoor boat storage
We offer sheltered boat storage in Shed 1, our large corrugated building, with space for boats and longer-term projects.
Get in touch to discuss available space, your boat’s dimensions and any electricity requirements.
Outdoor storage
We offer outdoor storage in several areas of the boatyard, with space for everything from smaller boats to larger yachts. Subject to available space and suitability, we can accommodate vessels up to 50 feet (15 metres) long and 15 tons in weight.
Get in touch to discuss your boat’s dimensions and what would work best for you.
Slipway access
Our slipway gives boat owners access to the Firth of Forth. The existing terms allow customers to use the slip without a separate launch charge. Tractor assistance for larger craft may be available through an independent local arrangement for a fee.
Please discuss launch requirements and suitability with us in advance.
Containers and working space
Storage containers are available within the yard. There is also scope for practical, hands-on boat projects and related workshop activity, according to the space and arrangements available.
Important: Carriden Boatyard provides storage, slipway access and a setting in which owners work on their own boats. The boatyard itself does not undertake boat maintenance or repair work.
